Dinnerparty for celebrating the first oliveoil coming from the presses, from the vineyard down the hill. Reggello, Italy, fall 2009.
The workers names are written on the can. Nationalities from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, USA and The Netherlands.

The menu of the night:
Of corse the virgin oil, to coil over a bruschetta rubbed with a piece of garlic.
Papa al pomodoro (tomatosoup with tuscan bread and garlic)
Local vine
And for dessert: coffe and Iris tiramisu

MY OWN RECIPE:
GINGERBREAD ICE CREAM SANDWICH with lingonberry jam

Ingredients:
- homemade gingerbreads in squares (recipe here!)
- vanilla ice cream
- lingonberry jam + some powder sugar

Cut the ice cream with a knife in squares. Place upon a gingerbread. Coil over some jam mixed with sugar. Put another gingerbread on top. Wrap in waxed paper and freeze!
